We Rock Long Distance is an independent film that is built on creative, compelling storytelling on as limited of means as a global production can have. The long distances that make this project so powerful also pose its biggest challenges.

The project has received support from institutions like the University of Minnesota's Office of International Programs, which funded my first trip to Ghana in the Fall of 2010, and the Minnesota State Arts Board, which gave me an "Artist Initiative Grant" to complete postproduction on the film.

We still need support though! Your donations will help with the remaining travel expenses to Thailand, as well as things like translation, additional backup equipment, and production insurance.

IFP Minnesota is the fiscal sponsor for We Rock Long Distance. Please help keep this project going with a fully tax-deductible donation. You can click on the "Donate" button right here to use PayPal to give your support. Thank you!

You can also support by purchasing DVDs of the first film Tou SaiKo Lee and I did, Travel in Spirals, or a "WRLD" bracelet, which were hand-made by my friend Kamal at the Arts Center in Accra, Ghana.
